Do you ship internationally?

How long does it take to ship my order?

Shipping time is determined on whether your order is an in-stock item or a made-to-order piece. In-Stock jewelry ships the same business day if purchased before 2:00pm ET or the next business day if ordered later than 2:00pm ET. Made-to-order jewelry is expertly crafted once your order is placed. It takes 15 business days (not including weekends) for your jewelry to be created and processed prior to shipping.

Do all packages require a signature?

Yes. For your protection against unforeseen events such as fraud, theft, or incorrect address delivery, we require a signature with all packages. We want to ensure deliveries are secure, given both the sentimental and valuable nature of your purchase.

What does "made-to-order" mean?

Made-to-order means that your fine jewelry is crafted once your order is placed. It takes 15 business days (not including weekends) for your jewelry to be created and processed prior to shipping.

How do I check the status of my order?

Can I have my package sent to a nearby post office for pickup?

Yes! If you would like your purchase sent to a nearby post office for pickup, please contact our customer service team at (877)202-5467 or via email at and provide your order number. We will then contact your shipping carrier and have them hold it at the post office of your choosing.


Do you create custom jewelry?

Currently, we do not offer customized designs. However, with over 90,000 product options on our website, we’re certain we have something for everyone! Schedule a free virtual consultation with one of our jewelry experts and they’ll help curate our styles to your needs.

Do you offer allergy-friendly metals?

Yes! Platinum and tantalum (offered on men’s bands) are free of nickel and other alloy allergens. If you don’t see these two options listed on the product you’re interested in, contact our customer service team at (877)202-5467 or via email at There’s a good chance we can make it allergy-free for you!

Do you use recycled metals?

Yes! Our goal is to use 100% recycled precious metals in all our fine jewelry pieces (so we don’t contribute to the harmful effects that mining imposes on Mother Earth). We’re about 99% there!

What gemstone shapes and/or cuts do you offer?

We offer numerous shapes and cuts in our Forever One™ moissanite: Asscher, baguette, cushion, elongated cushion, cushion hearts and arrows, elongated oval, emerald, half moon, heart, round hearts and arrows, marquise, oval, pear, princess, radiant, round brilliant, round old European, square brilliant, baguette, trapezoid and trillion cuts. We also offer Forever One™ moissanite rose cut options: cushion, marquise, oval, pear, rectangular cushion, round, and round duet. Currently, Caydia® lab grown diamonds are available in round brilliant, cushion, oval, emerald and princess cuts.

We offer a free, 30-day return policy! Charles & Colvard is dedicated to delivering the highest quality made, not mined™ gemstones and recycled precious metals. How do I make a return or exchange?

To make a return, please visit After you have initiated a return, please allow approximately 7-10 business days for the refund process to be completed. This wait time will start on the first business day after your return has been received. Once your refund has been processed, you will receive an email confirming that it has been issued to vou.

Care and Repair

Can I resize my ring? Do you offer half sizes?

Yes! If you do not see your ring size when purchasing an item, simply place your order for the closest size and then contact our customer service department at (877)202-5467 or via email at with the order number. If you need a previously purchased ring resized, you may submit a request through the service portal or contact our customer service team. There are a few exceptions for resize requests. Eternity bands must be ordered to size and some men's styles are not able to be resized.

How do I clean my jewelry?

The easiest way to clean your jewelry is with mild soap and water using a soft toothbrush. Also, as with any fine jewelry item, an ultrasonic cleaner can be used. However, it is best to be gentle with your valuable treasures. You can also clean your jewelry using a commercial (non-acid based) jewelry cleaner.
